Hurricane Sandy

Hello Dear Readers, My apartment building has been under mandatory evacuation order since Monday due to the hurricane. We are safe and sound, just a bit inconvenienced. Unfortunately, I do not have my computer, which makes it difficult to blog. I appreciate your understanding and hope to resume blogging in time for the election. Thinking of all of those affected by the storm. xx Mrs. T

Update (11/5): Thank you all so much for the concern! I truly appreciate your comments. We were able to get back into our apartment tonight and I'll have the blog up and running by tomorrow evening.

Stay safe, Mrs. T.

Dear Mrs. T, I am also on the East Coast though just outside of Boston. We lost power for a couple of days and had some trees uprooted but just minor inconvenience compared to what has happened in New York and New Jersey. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all those affected by Hurricane Sandy!

Most Important, happy to hear you are safe Mrs. T. You’ve always made it possible for us to enjoy this fascinating blog now it’s time to focus on getting things back to normal, which is difficult after this devastating heart-breaking moment. WE ARE ALL AFFECTED by these disasters whether we live in the U.S. or not. Me today…..could be others tomorrow. Many of us have relatives in these distant places. Hope knowing we’re here for you “all" will give you much comfort . We pray that God will shower them with blessings of strength and peace to get through this very difficult time. Keep safe.

Hi Mrs T, Glad to know that you are okay. My husband and I left New Jersey just two weeks before the hurricane to reside permanently in the Caribbean. We do have friends and family in NY and NJ but they are all fine. I hope and pray for all those who have been affected by this storm and am deeply concerned about the forecasted Nor'easter. God's blessings and heaps of luck.
