Christmas at the White House

Holiday festivities are in full gear at the White House!

On Wednesday, Mrs. O hosted a holiday arts and crafts event with military families in the state dining room of the White House. For the occasion, Mrs. O wore a grey and white floral dress.

On Friday, the First Lady attended the 2013 National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C., reading “Twas The Night Before Christmas” with muppet Abby Cadabby. On the fashion front: Mrs. O wore a black wool coat and black patent boots.

So pretty! I loved the pattern on the coat? at the tree lighting. Here's a link to show it off (It also shows the detail on Sasha's coat which I also think is fabulous): http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=vnvPe8PO-MNLDM&tbnid=YDQVfgk-EjdvQM:&ved=0CAUQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fglobalgrind.com%2F2013%2F12%2F07%2Fobama-family-lights-national-christmas-tree-mariah-carey-janelle-monae-photos-video%2F&ei=bSilUtrkNPTKsASOh4CIDg&bvm=bv.57752919,d.cWc&psig=AFQjCNF6op62TihiB7ZMhljpWq_s0zW3tg&ust=1386641850207813

Props to the man who had the good sense to nab this beautiful, smart and down to earth woman. Massive props to the woman herself for representing us so beautifully on the world stage.

That grey and white dress is so beautiful on Mrs. Obama! She is beautiful in anything. Who is the designer?
