Colorblock at the Berlin Wall memorial

The First Lady, joined by her daughters, visited the Berlin Wall Memorial at Bernauer Street in Berlin today. For the visit, Mrs. O wore a colorblock black and white top, black pants and flats. Long strands of pearls from Pearl Paradise accessorized the look.

Update: Reader Adriana has spotted Mrs. O's top, the Zara two-tone sleeveless top, available here.

I really love black and white combinations. These two are so natural they are not really shades, which are shaped by reflecting some light wavelengths and engrossing others. Most of the times i prefer to these kind of colors.

Those are Pearl Paradise's pearl strands, their ombre line. I believe one strand is a mixture of Tahitian black pearls and akoya and the other strand is Tahitian black pearls and white South Sea pearls.

So sharp! One of my favorite casual outfits on her. Tell me this top is affordable...

I love the black and white too SoccerNana--
The simple, lose silhouette of the top and the straight cut pants are rather reminiscent of the pieces she wore from the Narciso Rodriguez collection mentioned a few posts back--- I don't know that it's Narciso since I looked through and couldn't find it---
Very clean look and perfect for the scorching heat in Berlin too -- Also solemn enough for the visit to the memorial---

Loving this look. Love Mrs. O and Sasha's outfit. Cant see Malia but I am sure she looks fab too. These ladies make me want to rush over to the nearest gym and move in for six months. LOL!

My mistake. The pearlparadise.com strands are akoya and Tahitian pearls. There is no white South Sea pearls on those. So beautiful.

Great outfit. Hip, casual, classic.
Would like to know the pants brand.
