A Royal Visit

Photos by Carlos Alvarez/Getty Images

First Lady Mrs. O and daughter Sasha met with King Juan Carlos, Queen Sofia and Princess Letizia of Spain at the Marivent Palace in Palma de Mallorca, Spain earlier today. More to follow on this amazing mother-daughter international fashion moment!

Update: As suggested by several in the comments section, Sasha Obama indeed wears a darling crewcuts ensemble, including the Girls' tulle skirt, Girls' silk swing tank and Girls' neon flower pin. Love!

Mrs. O's skirt is confirmed as Moschino.

Blue Bouquet

The first lady returned home to the White House after attending a recital yesterday, wearing a blue floral Moschino dress and pewter flats.

We first spotted the dress in May 2009, here, but it's lovely to see it again in full view. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Jump and Juggle

First Lady Mrs. O is back from her trip to Los Angeles, launching the President's Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition yesterday, with an event at the Columbia Heights Educational Campus in Washington, DC.

Mrs. O jumped rope and juggled neon colored scarves, wearing a pink Moschino bow top, cinched at the waist with a white belt, and paired with white pants and silver flats. A great summer look!

Off and Away

The entire O family is off to Chicago for the holiday weekend. Love the pop of color added to Mrs. O's black and white ensemble by her red ballet flats. And might that be a Vineyard Vines tote Mrs. Robinson is carrying?

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Update: Fans of Mrs. O's blouse will be happy to know it's a stretch poplin fitted top with collar bow detail from the Moschino Spring/Summer 2010 collection.

A Moschino Moment

The first lady announced today that the Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation, a group comprised of food retailers and trade associations, has pledged to remove 1.5 trillion calories from their products by the end of 2015. The pledge comes a big win for Mrs. O's "Let's Move" initiative.

Announcing the good news, Mrs. O turned to a coordinating jacket and skirt by Moschino, first seen in October 2009, here.
