Passion Pink

The first lady continued her campaigning efforts today, speaking on behalf of Connecticut Democrat Senate candidate Richard Blumenthal in Stamford. For the appearance, Mrs. O turned to a hot pink sheath dress and classic pearls.
Fashion is certainly on the first lady's agenda today, as she is scheduled to attend a dinner hosted by Donna Karan in New York City this evening!
Update: The first lady wore a purple wool crepe dress by Prabal Gurung.

NICE DRESS THAT MRS OBAMA IS WEARRING
Her hair is nice - looks like she's pulled it away from her face a bit- shows her pretty face. Like the lines of her dress but not sure about that color on her. She is such an asset to POTUS!
Beautiful couple. Lets not get too caught up on Mrs. O's outfits and forget to support Pres. O, y'all. We need to make sure he has allies in congress that will stand string with him. Vote this November! We want a progressive agenda and four more years of fabulosity!
this is a dynamite color on her. She is just so stunning and so stylish. I was just talking to a salesgirl today about one of my all time fav outfits of the First Lady....on the train to the Inauguration...a black turtleneck and a cashmere camel color coat with black patent leather bag and boots. Flawless! I adore our First Lady.
Beautiful and powerful...love the color, the hair and of course the smile. We are truly blessed to have Mrs. Michelle Obama as our First Lady! God bless America
Looks like this sheath is part of the two piece ensemble she wore to great the First Lady of Mexico back in May 2010. Love the color.
This shift dress (sorry I just can't use that other word about a DRESS!!!) is such a beautiful colour on Mrs O. I couldn't wear it in a month of Sundays but she rocks it.
@ Nellinraleigh, you took the words right out of my mouth! She is a force to be reckoned with. Not only because of her beauty, style and grace, but also because she is dedicated and not afraid to show women that we can be both strong and soft. She inspires young girls not to dumb it down, be smart and take their rightful place in the world. She's not perfect, never claimed to be. We are so blessed to have her as our First Lady. We should probably send President Obama a thank you card, we owe him for this one!
Beautiful! A fabulous color and a wonderful fit! So much more flattering and lovely than the Donna Karan.
Her entire look resembles for who she is; she is A star so as PG's dress suits her so much so far I could say the best!
