Well, apparently this little number is indeed flying off the racks. A salesperson at H&M in Soho informed me that people have been buying the "Michelle Obama dress" non-stop since yesterday afternoon. I managed to grab the last dress at the location on Broadway just below Spring. It is a size 6, and is destined for one of you, dear readers. A little Valentine from me to you!

I love the oval shaped dots if this dress and to be honest, I'd be very envious if I were the winner because it would be a perfect gift to my 6 sized sister ! But she couldn't be as stuningly elegant as our dear Mrs O.

An amazing dress named for the everyday icon we have been waiting for. In the interim (let's say the past several decades - I'm 60), I've become my own style icon. Working at an elementary school, everything you wear gets noticed and commented on. When I wear my crystal blue teardrop earrings, the kids will tell me I am very calm (yep, wore them with that intent). When I wear my 25 year old Esprit black background with multi colored abstract designs cotton knit sweater, that always gets a compliment. I wear it because it is playful, warm and always energizes me. I would love to have this polkadot dress to share by wearing with my students (preK thru 5th). Because I wear with intent, to empower and entertain myself and my students. And sometimes the other staff, too : )

I have to say, I too think you should keep the dress for yourself and sport it on this site.
However, if I were fortunate enough to win this great dress, I would give it to either one of my two beautiful sisters or to one of my three gorgeous nieces. And I know they would WORK this dress in a manner that would make me proud!

Our First Lady is a person to look up to, primarily for her intellect and character; however her fashion trend is continiously gong up the charts. I reside in South Florida and do not have an H&M store near. After seeing her on the today show, I googled H&M but did not find a USA site for it. I looked up the UK site, but the dress was not listed. Here's to hoping I get to win th dress. But good luck to everyone.
