Mrs. O in Carolina Herrera

The President and First Lady attended a dinner given in honor of President Obama at the Orangerie of Schloss Charlottenburg Palace in Berlin, Germany on Wednesday evening. The dinner was hosted by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her husband Joachim Sauer.

For the occasion, Mrs. O wore a Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2013 cocktail dress, as seen in the designer's collection here. Bows at the shoulders and statement earrings by Rene Escobar punctuate the festive, formal look.
